SI Joins AACVPR – American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation

The American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) is a multidisciplinary professional association comprised of health professionals who serve in the field of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. Members include cardiovascular and pulmonary physicians, nurses, exercise physiologists, physical therapists, behavioral scientists, respiratory therapists, dieticians and nutritionists.

As one of the newest members to the AACVPR, Strategic Interests will have unparalleled opportunities to connect with industry leaders in Cardiovascular Rehabilitation. This allows us to better help our clients, gain first-rate education from experts in the field, and hear the latest updates on regulatory standards and reimbursement issues.

“The events hosted by AACVPR are attended by the most educated, and influential minds in cardiac rehab and are a hotbed of innovative ideas, collaboration and education,” said Stacey Padginton, Strategic Interests’ Business Development Consultant. “The healthcare industry is always in a state of change and cardiac rehab is no different.  It is vital to keep up to date on the newest developments and scientific breakthroughs through AACVPR’s national and state associations, seminars, journals, courses and gain a competitive edge accessing the association’s resources.”

Joining the multidisciplinary network of cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation professionals allows SI to be a part of the conversation to improve care strategy and delivery, influence innovation, and promote positive change across healthcare. Strategic Interests is committed to the continued professional development of our consultants and, through networking and educational opportunities such as AACVPR, we can best serve the needs of our clients.

SI Helps ACO (GBUACO) Transform Care for Safety Net Population

This month’s issue of Western New York Physician Magazine features an article highlighting Strategic Interests’ work to transform primary care in preparation for payment reform. Through programs with the New York State Department of Health, CMS and New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC), Strategic Interests partnered with the Greater Buffalo United Accountable Care Organization (GBUACO). As the first Medicaid ACO in the state, GBAUCO is ever embracing ways to raise care quality, reduce costs and improve the delivery of care. Strategic Interests is assisting the ACO through two separate programs to accelerate their efforts and improve the knowledge and workflow of their provider network. SI is the only firm that supports NYeC in all four transformational programs offered.
