Sometimes, one plus one equals more than just two. Strategic Interests, recognizing an opportunity for two organizations committed to excellence to collaborate and make each other stronger, has helped in the guidance and facilitation of a new community health care partnership in the Rochester area. After many months of planning, this week we were pleased to see the announcement that the Louis S. Wolk Jewish Community Center of Rochester (JCC) and Rochester Regional Health (RRH) have publicly announced their partnership. This cooperative effort will offer the cutting edge programs and on-site health care services at the JCC provided by RRH staff.
There will be an on-site registered nurse (RN) who will provide health screenings, care navigation, referrals, and wellness workshops. In the future phases of this partnership, members will also see specialty services offered at the JCC location.
Strategic Interests was integral in providing advisory services, creative thinking, relationships, and the strategic planning to help these two organizations achieve a strong and meaningful partnership. We are proud of our involvement in this impactful initiative and are optimistic as to the future growth of this important community program.
Partners from Strategic Interests attended the annual Strategic Health Information Exchange Collaboration (SHIEC) conference in the Washington, DC area this month. This meeting brings together over 70 Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) and other interested organizations from across the country. We were able to participate in discussions, offer advice, and make some terrific connections with other interoperability experts.
Join Strategic Interests at the third annual Healthcare Innovations Conference hosted by Pandion Optimization Alliance. This full-day educational event will be held on November 13, 2019 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. Last year, more than 200 healthcare administrators, clinicians, and business owners attended the conference, representing more than 70 organizations across New York. Anyone interested in the future of healthcare is welcome to attend.
Pandion has secured an award-winning speaker: Emmanuel Fombu, MD, MBA. Dr. Fombu is a physician, author, speaker, and healthcare executive turned Silicon Valley entrepreneur. He is the author of the book, “The Future of Healthcare: Human and Machines Partnering for Better Outcomes.”
Attendees will also be able to choose from six different educational tracks:
Consumer, Patient Engagement, and Digitally Connected Health
