Our old offices were a bit like the board game Risk. We annexed space around us as we continued to need it and eventually cobbled together a group of offices. This involved knocking down walls here and putting up walls there, some interior windows and a few too many doorways. We were productive and made it work — but it lacked something.
Just a short hop away, we found a place better suited to our consultants, partners, and clients and this week, we moved to our beautiful offices: Executive Square at 95 Allens Creek in Rochester. We constructed team rooms, a large conference room and no longer in a third floor walk-up! We are confident this new location will better serve our needs and yours. Though we are still unpacking, stop by and let’s discuss how we can help meet your organization’s goals and best strategic interests.

Sometimes, one plus one equals more than just two. Strategic Interests, recognizing an opportunity for two organizations committed to excellence to collaborate and make each other stronger, has helped in the guidance and facilitation of a new community health care partnership in the Rochester area. After many months of planning, this week we were pleased to see the announcement that the Louis S. Wolk Jewish Community Center of Rochester (JCC) and Rochester Regional Health (RRH) have publicly announced their partnership. This cooperative effort will offer the cutting edge programs and on-site health care services at the JCC provided by RRH staff.
There will be an on-site registered nurse (RN) who will provide health screenings, care navigation, referrals, and wellness workshops. In the future phases of this partnership, members will also see specialty services offered at the JCC location.
Strategic Interests was integral in providing advisory services, creative thinking, relationships, and the strategic planning to help these two organizations achieve a strong and meaningful partnership. We are proud of our involvement in this impactful initiative and are optimistic as to the future growth of this important community program.
Partners from Strategic Interests attended the annual Strategic Health Information Exchange Collaboration (SHIEC) conference in the Washington, DC area this month. This meeting brings together over 70 Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) and other interested organizations from across the country. We were able to participate in discussions, offer advice, and make some terrific connections with other interoperability experts.

Attendees will also be able to choose from six different educational tracks:

The level of complexity and number of data sources required for healthcare organizations to support decision-making is rapidly increasing. This necessitates having strong business intelligence and analytics strategies for both clinical and business objectives. Proper data governance ensures data quality and empowers the generation of actionable insights to reduce costs, increase revenue, and improve patient safety. The abundance of data, too great for human processing, can be leveraged in novel ways using machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Join Strategic interests Partner and TechRochester Board Member Brett Kinsler and HIMSS as we learn from three expert panels:
How analytics impacts the business of healthcare
Clinical applications of artificial intelligence and analytics
Healthcare data governance fundamentals to facilitate analytics
